Vehicle: 2022 Acura ILX Technology Package
My 2022 Acura ILX with the Technology Package has been giving me headaches with its infotainment system. It frequently freezes up, especially when I'm using Apple CarPlay. The screen becomes unresponsive, and I can't switch between apps or even adjust the volume.
Sometimes, it just completely reboots itself while I'm driving, which is really annoying and disruptive. CarPlay connection also drops intermittently, and I have to unplug and replug my phone to get it working again. I've tried different cables, but the issue persists.
Is anyone else experiencing these kinds of software glitches with their newer ILX? It's a brand new car, and I wouldn't expect these kinds of problems. Any tips on how to troubleshoot this or if there's a known fix?
