How to use ClearTheCode

1. Create a free account (18+). Confirm your email from the message we send (check spam if needed).
2. Use the header search for a code (e.g. P0420), symptom, or “Toyota Camry 2018.”
3. Open Guides and narrow results with filters on the left.

Visit Codes, search or browse, and open a code page for symptoms, common fixes, and linked repair guides.

1. Open Forums and choose the make that matches your vehicle (e.g. Honda, Ram).
2. Pick a topic area—Diagnostics & codes, Engine & drivetrain, Brakes & suspension, and four others.
3. Sign in with a verified email to start a thread or reply. You'll be notified in the header bell and by email when someone answers. Read forum policies first.

Control forum replies, shop guides, order shipping updates, and site announcements under Account → Notifications. Toggle in-app and email per category.

1. Browse Shops and open a shop you trust.
2. Sign in and click Follow.
3. New guides appear in your notification center and email (if enabled).
4. Manage email updates under Account → Shop subscriptions.
