Vehicle: 2018 Acura TLX V6 Advance
Hey everyone,
I've got a 2018 Acura TLX V6 with the 9-speed automatic transmission, and I've been noticing some really harsh shifts lately, especially when downshifting or accelerating from a stop. It feels like the car is jerking sometimes, which is pretty unsettling for a luxury sedan.
It's most noticeable in lower gears, like 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd, and also when slowing down. Sometimes it feels like it's hunting for gears. I bought it used a few months ago, and I'm wondering if this is a known issue with these transmissions or if I should be worried about a major problem.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 2016-2020 TLX or MDX? Is there a software update or a TSB I should be aware of? Any advice on what to tell the dealership would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
