Vehicle: 2018 Acura NSX
Hi NSX owners,
I've got a 2018 Acura NSX with about 25,000 miles, and I'm starting to get a bit concerned about the hybrid system. I've noticed a definite reduction in the electric-only range, and sometimes, after a spirited drive, I'll get a 'Check Hybrid System' warning light that eventually clears itself.
I know hybrid batteries can degrade over time, but I didn't expect to see such signs this early. Is this a common issue for the 2018 NSX, or should I be worried about a more serious problem? What's the typical lifespan or expected degradation for these batteries?
Any advice on what to look for or how to maintain the hybrid system would be great. Thanks!
