Vehicle: 2024 Acura NSX Type S
Hi all,
I just picked up my new 2024 Acura NSX Type S a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it for the most part. However, I'm noticing what feels like excessive turbo lag, especially when I try to accelerate from a low RPM or from a near stop. There's a noticeable delay before the power really kicks in, more so than I expected from a twin-turbo V6 with electric assist.
It feels like I have to really wind it up before the boost comes on strong. I've tried different drive modes, but the characteristic remains. Is this a normal trait for the NSX Type S, or could there be something amiss? I'm coming from other performance cars, and this lag feels a bit pronounced.
Any other 2024 Type S owners experiencing this, or have any insights into the power delivery characteristics? Thanks for any feedback!
