Vehicle: 2017 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid Advance
Hey everyone,
I've run into a concerning issue with my 2017 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid Advance. Recently, the 'Check SH-AWD System' warning light came on, and I've noticed a significant reduction in power, especially when accelerating from a stop or going uphill. It feels like the electric motors aren't engaging properly.
The car has about 75,000 miles on it, and I've kept up with all the scheduled maintenance. I tried restarting the car a few times, but the warning light persists. Has anyone else experienced this with their Sport Hybrid RLX?
I'm worried this might be a costly repair involving the hybrid battery or the SH-AWD system itself. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated before I take it to the dealer.
