Experiencing lower than expected range on my new 2024 ZDX A-Spec

Hey everyone,

I just got my new 2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec a couple of months ago, and I'm a bit concerned about the actual range I'm getting. The EPA estimate is around 313 miles, but I'm consistently seeing much lower, sometimes barely breaking 250 miles on a full charge.

I primarily do city and highway driving, nothing too extreme. Also, I've noticed that DC fast charging seems slower than advertised, especially past 80%. Is anyone else with a 2024 ZDX experiencing similar issues? What could be causing this discrepancy?

Summary: For Experiencing lower than expected range on my new 2024 ZDX A-Spec, work through these steps on your 2016+ vehicle:

  1. Confirm the symptom — note when it happens (cold start, highway, after fuel fill, etc.).
  2. Scan codes — save all pending/stored DTCs; don't clear until you've recorded them.
  3. Check TSBs & recalls — look up your VIN for open campaigns and known fixes.
  4. Inspect the obvious — related fuses, connectors, fluid level, and recent repairs.
  5. Test the common fix — follow model-specific service procedures; one change at a time.
  6. Escalate if needed — burning smell, no brakes, overheating, or stalling in traffic → shop visit.
