I've got a 2017 BMW 340i xDrive, and I've noticed it's been consuming a fair bit of oil lately. I'm adding about a quart every 1500-2000 miles. There are no visible leaks on my garage floor, and I haven't seen any major smoke from the exhaust, though maybe a puff on a cold start sometimes.

Is this normal for the B58 engine, or should I be concerned? I've heard about PCV valve issues on other BMW engines, could that be a culprit here?
