2020 BMW 330i xDrive Oil Level Sensor Warning After DIY Oil Change

Hey everyone,

I recently did an oil change on my 2020 BMW 330i xDrive (G20 chassis) myself, using the correct LL-01 FE oil and a new OEM filter. Everything seemed fine, but now I'm getting an 'Engine Oil Level Low' warning on the iDrive screen, even though I've double-checked the dipstick (yes, it has one!) and it's perfectly full.

I've driven it a few times, hoping it would reset, but the warning persists. I also tried resetting the service interval through the iDrive, but that didn't clear the oil level warning. Could this be a faulty oil level sensor, or is there some specific reset procedure I missed for the G20?

I'm a bit worried about driving it long distances with this warning, even though I know the oil level is correct. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!
