Hey everyone,
I've got a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT with the 5.3L V8 and the 8-speed automatic transmission. Lately, I've been experiencing a noticeable shudder, especially at lower speeds (around 30-50 mph) or when lightly accelerating. It feels like I'm driving over rumble strips, but the road is perfectly smooth.
I've heard this is a common issue with these transmissions, possibly related to the torque converter or the transmission fluid itself. Has anyone else dealt with this? Are there any known TSBs or specific fixes I should be aware of before taking it to the dealership? I'm trying to gather as much info as possible.
Thanks for any help or advice!
