My 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT with the 5.3L V8 and 8-speed automatic transmission has been acting up lately. When accelerating from a stop or shifting into higher gears, it often feels like it's clunking or jerking pretty hard. It's not smooth at all, and sometimes it feels like it slips a bit before engaging.
I've heard about issues with these transmissions, but I'm not sure if it's something I need to worry about immediately or if there's a known fix. The truck has about 70,000 miles on it. Any advice on what I should check or ask for at the dealership?
