2018 Silverado 8-speed Transmission Shudder - Fluid Flush Needed?

Hey everyone,

I've got a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ with the 5.3L V8 and the 8-speed automatic transmission. Lately, I've been noticing a distinct shudder, especially when accelerating lightly between 40-60 mph. It feels like driving over rumble strips for a few seconds.

I've read online that this is a common issue with these transmissions and might be related to the transmission fluid. Has anyone else experienced this? Is a transmission fluid flush and refill with the newer Mobil 1 LV ATF HP fluid the recommended fix? I'm trying to figure out if this is something I can tackle myself or if it's a dealer-only job. Any advice on the process or specific fluid types would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
