Vehicle: 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L
Hey everyone,
I've got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L with about 65,000 miles on it, and lately, I've been noticing some really rough shifts, especially between 2nd and 3rd gear, and sometimes a noticeable hesitation when accelerating from a stop. It feels like the transmission is struggling to find the right gear, and it's not always smooth.
Is this a common issue with the 9-speed transmission in these Pacificas? I'm starting to get worried about the long-term reliability of the vehicle, as this is our main family hauler. I've heard some chatter online about these transmissions, but I'm not sure if it's just normal quirks or something I should be seriously concerned about.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 2018 Pacifica or similar model years? What did you do to address it, and what was the outcome? Any advice on whether this is something that needs immediate attention from a dealership or an independent shop would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
