Vehicle: 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L
Hey everyone,
I've got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L with about 75,000 miles on it, and I've been noticing some really strange transmission behavior lately. From a stop, there's often a noticeable hesitation before it engages, almost like it's thinking too long. Once it gets going, the shifts can be pretty rough, especially the downshifts when coming to a stop.
It also feels like the transmission is 'hunting' for gears at times, particularly at lower speeds around town. It's not throwing any check engine lights, but it definitely doesn't feel right. I'm worried about the long-term reliability.
Has anyone else with a 2018 Pacifica experienced similar issues with the 9-speed automatic? Are there any known TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) or recalls related to this? I'm trying to figure out if this is just a characteristic of this transmission or if I should be concerned and take it in for service.
