Vehicle: 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT
Hi all,
My 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, with about 95,000 miles on it, recently threw a Check Engine Light. I hooked up my OBD-II scanner, and it's showing a P0420 code: 'Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)'.
I haven't noticed any drastic performance issues, but maybe a slight drop in fuel economy. Could this really be a bad catalytic converter already? Or are there other things I should check before assuming the worst?
Any insights on common causes for this code in Grand Caravans would be helpful!
