2018 F-150 10-Speed Transmission Shifting Rough - Is this normal?

Hey everyone, I've got a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat with the 3.5L EcoBoost and the 10-speed automatic transmission. Lately, I've noticed some really rough shifts, especially between 3rd and 5th gear, and sometimes a hard downshift when coming to a stop. It feels like a jolt.

I bought it used a few months ago, and it wasn't doing this initially. Now, it's becoming more frequent and quite annoying. I'm worried this could be a major transmission problem.

Has anyone else experienced this with their 10-speed F-150? Is there a known TSB or recall for this? What should I be looking for, or what questions should I ask my mechanic?

  4. Inspect the obvious — related fuses, connectors, fluid level, and recent repairs.
