My 2018 F-150 Lariat with the 3.5L EcoBoost and 10-speed transmission just hit 75,000 miles. I've been pretty good with oil changes and tire rotations, but I'm wondering about the transmission fluid.
The owner's manual seems to suggest a really long interval, but I've heard different things from mechanics. Is it really a "lifetime" fluid, or should I be looking to change it soon?
What type of fluid does it take, and is this something a DIYer can tackle, or is it best left to a shop? I want to keep this truck running strong for years.
