Hey everyone, I'm having some serious concerns with the transmission in my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT, 5.3L. Lately, it's been shifting really harshly, especially between 1st and 2nd gear, and sometimes it feels like it hesitates before engaging. It's got about 70,000 miles on it.
I've heard about the 8-speed transmission problems in these trucks, but I'm wondering if anyone has found a reliable fix or if there are any TSBs I should be aware of. It's making daily driving pretty unpleasant. Any advice on what I should check first or if this is something I need to take to the dealer immediately?
