2018 Sorento Battery Draining Overnight - Replaced Battery, Still Dying

Hey everyone, I'm at my wit's end with my 2018 Kia Sorento EX. For the past few weeks, the battery keeps dying overnight. I thought it was just an old battery, so I replaced it with a brand new one last weekend.

Unfortunately, the problem persists. If I don't drive it for 12-18 hours, it's completely dead. I have to jump-start it every time. I've checked for lights left on, but everything seems off.

Could this be a parasitic draw? What should I be looking for? Any common issues with the Sorento's electrical system that could cause this?

  4. Inspect the obvious — related fuses, connectors, fluid level, and recent repairs.
