Vehicle: 2022 Kia Telluride SX-Prestige
Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice regarding the infotainment system in my 2022 Kia Telluride SX-Prestige. Lately, I've been experiencing frequent freezing of the main screen. It just locks up, and I can't use any functions, including navigation or radio controls. Sometimes it reboots itself, but other times I have to turn the car off and on again.
Compounding this, my Apple CarPlay connection has become extremely unreliable. It constantly disconnects or fails to connect altogether, whether I'm using a cable or wireless. I've tried different cables and even different iPhones, but the problem persists. Is this a known issue with the Telluride's infotainment system, especially for the 2022 model year?
I'm hoping there's a simple fix like a software update, but I'm worried it might be a hardware problem. Any suggestions or similar experiences would be helpful!
