Vehicle: 2023 Land Rover Defender 110 X-Dynamic

I've got a 2023 Land Rover Defender 110 X-Dynamic with about 20,000 miles on it. Lately, the transmission has been shifting very roughly, especially noticeable between 2nd and 3rd gear, and sometimes it feels like it's holding gears too long.

Yesterday, I got a prominent "Transmission Fault" message on the dash, though it cleared after I restarted the vehicle. I haven't scanned for OBD codes yet. What should I be looking for, and is this a common issue with these newer Defenders?
