My 2018 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport has developed an annoying squeak from the front brakes, especially at low speeds or when coming to a gentle stop. It's not constant, but happens often enough to be frustrating. I had the pads and rotors checked about 6 months ago, and the shop said everything looked good with plenty of life left.
I've tried washing the wheels to remove any dust, but the sound persists. It's most noticeable when the brakes are cold, but can happen even after driving for a while. Could it be something other than worn pads?
Any ideas what could be causing this persistent squeal? It's really taking away from the luxury feel of the car.
