Vehicle: 2020 Lincoln Aviator Reserve
Hey everyone,
I've been experiencing some really rough shifting in my 2020 Lincoln Aviator Reserve, especially at lower speeds and when downshifting. It feels like the transmission is hesitant to engage sometimes, and then it clunks into gear. It's most noticeable between 2nd and 3rd, and then again when slowing down.
I bought it new, and it's got about 45,000 miles on it now. I'm wondering if this is a known issue with the 10-speed transmission in these models? I've heard some chatter about similar problems with other Ford/Lincoln vehicles using this gearbox.
Has anyone else with a 2020 Aviator, or even a different year, experienced this? Is there a recall or a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that addresses this? I'm trying to figure out if this is just 'normal' for this transmission or if I should be pushing my dealership for a more thorough inspection. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
