Vehicle: 2018 Lincoln Continental Black Label 3.0L
Hello everyone,
I've got a 2018 Lincoln Continental Black Label with the 3.0L engine, and I've noticed a concerning issue with the transmission lately. It's been shifting very harshly, especially from 1st to 2nd gear. It feels like a significant jerk or clunk, and it's not smooth at all. This happens both when the engine is cold and after it's warmed up.
There's no check engine light on, which makes it harder to diagnose. I'm worried this could be a sign of a major transmission problem. Has anyone else experienced rough shifts like this with their Continental, and what did it turn out to be?
