Vehicle: 2020 Mazda 3 Premium
Hi all,
I'm experiencing a concerning issue with my 2020 Mazda 3 Premium, which has the automatic transmission and about 45,000 miles on it. Lately, I've noticed a distinct jerking or harsh shift when the transmission goes from 2nd to 3rd gear. It's not constant, but it's happening more frequently, especially when the car is cold or under moderate acceleration.
It feels like a sudden lurch, and it's quite unsettling. All other shifts seem smooth, and there are no warning lights on the dash. I've heard some talk about transmission software updates for Mazda models, but I'm not sure if that applies to my year and model.
Has anyone else with a 2020 Mazda 3 experienced similar transmission behavior? What was your experience, and what was the solution? Any insights would be greatly appreciated before I take it to the dealership.
