Vehicle: 2020 Mini Countryman Cooper
Hi everyone,
I'm having some frustrating issues with my 2020 Mini Countryman Cooper (F60) with about 35,000 miles. Lately, the infotainment system has been acting up. The screen sometimes freezes, Apple CarPlay disconnects randomly, and the radio volume control becomes unresponsive. A restart of the car usually fixes it temporarily, but it's happening more frequently.
On top of that, I've noticed the battery seems to be draining faster than it should. If I leave the car parked for more than a couple of days, it struggles to start, and I've even needed a jump once. I'm wondering if these two problems could be related, perhaps a module not shutting down properly.
Has anyone with a similar model experienced these infotainment glitches or unusual battery drain? What was your solution? I'm trying to avoid multiple trips to the dealership if possible.
