Hey everyone,
My 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE is coming up on 60,000 miles, and I'm starting to think about the CVT fluid. I've heard conflicting information – some say it's 'lifetime' fluid, but others recommend changing it around this mileage, especially with stop-and-go city driving.
Has anyone done a DIY CVT fluid change on their Outlander Sport of this generation? What fluid did you use, and were there any special tools or procedures I should be aware of? I'm trying to avoid the dealership cost if possible, but I want to make sure I do it right.
