Vehicle: 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV GT
Hey community,
My 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV GT, with around 60,000 miles, just threw a 'Hybrid System Service Required' warning on the dash, and I've noticed a significant reduction in power. It feels sluggish, especially when trying to accelerate, and the electric-only range seems to be much lower than usual. The car is still driving, but it's definitely not right.
I haven't hit any major potholes or had any recent service. What could cause a hybrid system warning and power loss on these PHEVs? Is it usually battery-related, or could it be something else like the inverter or motor system? I'm hoping it's not a huge repair.
