Vehicle: 2017 Porsche Macan S
Hey everyone, I'm a new owner of a 2017 Porsche Macan S, and I've been experiencing some concerning symptoms lately. When I'm making low-speed turns, especially from a stop or in parking lots, I feel a distinct shuddering or binding sensation, almost like the car is fighting itself. Sometimes there's even a slight clunk.
I've read online that transfer case issues are somewhat common on these Macans, and the symptoms sound very similar to what I'm feeling. My car has about 65,000 miles on it. Has anyone else experienced this with their 2016-2026 Macan?
Is this something that can be fixed with just a fluid change, or am I looking at a full transfer case replacement? Any advice on what to look out for or what questions to ask my mechanic would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure I'm prepared for what might be a costly repair.
