Vehicle: 2022 Rivian R1S Dual-Motor
Hello Rivian owners, I'm having a serious problem with my 2022 R1S Dual-Motor. For the past two days, it refuses to charge. I've tried my Rivian Wall Charger at home, a public Level 2 charger, and even a DC Fast Charger, and nothing works. The charging indicator light on the port just stays white, or sometimes flashes red briefly before going back to white, and the in-car display shows 'Charging Fault' or 'Charging Interrupted'.
I've tried unplugging and replugging, restarting the vehicle, and even checking my home breaker, but no luck. My wall charger worked perfectly fine last week. The vehicle has about 25,000 miles on it. Has anyone experienced a complete failure to charge like this across multiple charging types?
I'm currently stuck with a low battery, and this is quite frustrating. Is there a common component that could fail and cause all charging to stop? Or is this likely a major battery management system issue? Any thoughts or similar experiences would be helpful before I call for a tow.
