Vehicle: 2023 Rivian R1T Adventure
Hey everyone,
I've been having some frustrating issues with my 2023 Rivian R1T Adventure lately, specifically with charging at home. For the past week or so, it either charges incredibly slowly, taking well over 12 hours for a partial charge, or it just stops charging completely once it hits around 80%. I'm using a dedicated Level 2 charger that was professionally installed, and it's been working perfectly for months.
I've checked the Rivian app and the vehicle's settings, and there's no charging limit set to 80%, nor is there a scheduled charging time interfering. I've also tried unplugging and replugging the charger multiple times, but the problem persists. It's really impacting my daily routine, as I rely on overnight charging.
Has anyone else experienced similar charging problems with their R1T? Could this be a software glitch, an issue with the vehicle's charging port, or something more serious with the battery management system? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated before I have to schedule a service appointment.
