Vehicle: 2022 Rivian R1T Quad-Motor
My 2022 Rivian R1T Quad-Motor has developed a noticeable whining noise coming from the front end, specifically when accelerating or regenerating at lower speeds (under 40 mph). It's not a tire noise, and it wasn't there before. It sounds almost like a high-pitched electric motor whine, but it's much louder than normal.
It's been getting progressively worse over the last few days. I'm concerned it might be one of the front drive units. The truck still drives fine, no warning lights yet.
Has anyone experienced this specific type of noise? Is it indicative of a motor bearing issue or something else?
