Vehicle: 2021 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i Premium

Hello everyone,

My 2021 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i Premium recently threw a Check Engine Light. I had it scanned, and the code came back as P0420 – 'Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1'. The strange thing is, I haven't noticed any changes in how the car drives. No loss of power, no strange noises, and fuel economy seems normal.

The car has about 55,000 miles on it. I'm wondering if this is a common issue with Crosstreks or if it's something I should be seriously concerned about. Could it just be a sensor, or am I looking at a catalytic converter replacement?
