Hey everyone,
I've had my 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range for a few years now, and I'm starting to notice a pretty significant drop in my maximum range. When I first got it, I could easily get over 300 miles on a full charge, but now it's closer to 260-270 miles, sometimes even less depending on the weather. I typically charge to 80-90% daily and only go to 100% for long trips.
Is this level of battery degradation normal for a 2018 model? I'm a bit concerned as it's impacting my longer commutes. I've tried recalibrating the battery by draining it low and charging to 100%, but it hasn't made much difference.
Any insights or similar experiences with your 2018 Model 3s? Should I be looking into a service appointment?
