Vehicle: 2016 Tesla Model S 75D
My 2016 Tesla Model S 75D is having issues with the driver's side front door handle. It's completely stuck in the retracted position and won't present itself when I approach the car or try to open it from the app. I have to use the passenger door to get in.
This isn't the first time I've had a door handle issue, but usually, they just get a bit sticky or slow. This one is completely unresponsive. I've tried rebooting the car (both soft and hard resets) and checking for any obvious obstructions, but no luck.
Is this a common problem for older Model S vehicles? What's the typical fix, and how much am I looking at for a repair? I'm hoping it's not a full handle replacement, but I'm bracing for it.
