Vehicle: 2017 Tesla Model S 75D
Hey everyone, I'm having a persistent issue with my 2017 Tesla Model S 75D. The driver's side door handle often fails to present when I approach the car or press the key fob. It's really frustrating, especially when I'm in a hurry.
Sometimes it works perfectly, but other times it just stays flush with the door. I've tried rebooting the car multiple times, both the soft reboot and the full power cycle, but it doesn't seem to make a lasting difference. It's an intermittent problem, which makes it even harder to diagnose.
Has anyone else with a 2016-2018 Model S experienced this specific issue? Is this a common reliability problem for the retractable door handles on this model year? What was your fix, or did you have to take it into a service center?
