Vehicle: 2017 Volkswagen Golf R
Hey everyone,
I've got a 2017 Volkswagen Golf R with about 55,000 miles on it. I'm starting to think about the DSG transmission fluid service. I've heard these are pretty critical for longevity, especially with a performance car like the R.
Is this something a competent DIYer can tackle at home, or is it best left to the dealership or a specialist shop? I've done oil changes and brake jobs before, but a transmission service feels like a different beast. What specific tools are needed, and what's the recommended fluid type? Any tips or warnings would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
