Hey everyone,
I have a 2018 Volvo XC60 T5 with about 75,000 miles on it. I've been doing all the recommended maintenance, but I'm a bit confused about the transmission fluid. The dealership says it's "sealed for life" and doesn't need changing.
However, I've read on other forums that many owners still recommend a drain and fill, especially around this mileage, to prolong the transmission's life. I'm starting to feel a very slight hesitation sometimes when shifting, nothing major, but it makes me wonder.
What's the consensus here? Should I push for a fluid change, or just trust Volvo's recommendation? If I do change it, what type of fluid is best for the Aisin 8-speed?
