Vehicle: 2022 Volvo XC90 Recharge T8 Inscription
Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing a concerning issue with my 2022 Volvo XC90 Recharge T8 Inscription. Recently, I've started getting a 'Service Hybrid System' message pop up on the dashboard. Along with this, my electric-only range has significantly decreased, sometimes showing less than half of its usual capacity after a full charge.
Also, the car doesn't seem to be engaging the electric motor as smoothly or as often as it used to, and the gasoline engine kicks in more frequently, even at low speeds. There's no obvious performance issue with the gasoline engine itself, but the hybrid functionality is clearly compromised. I'm worried about the battery or other hybrid components.
Has anyone with a Recharge model experienced this 'Service Hybrid System' warning or a drastic drop in EV range? What was the underlying cause and fix? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
