Vehicle: 2020 Volvo V60 T8 Recharge
Hello fellow Volvo owners,
My 2020 Volvo V60 T8 Recharge, with around 35,000 miles, just displayed a "Reduced Engine Performance" message along with a "Hybrid System Service Required" warning on the dashboard. The car immediately felt sluggish, and it completely stopped using electric power – the battery indicator shows full but it's not engaging the electric motor at all.
I'm quite worried about driving it like this, especially since it's a hybrid system. I haven't noticed any strange noises or smells, but the performance is definitely compromised. What could this indicate for a T8 Recharge model? Is this a common issue, and what should I prepare for in terms of diagnosis and repair?
