Vehicle: 2021 Audi A6 3.0T Quattro Prestige
Hello forum, I'm experiencing some issues with my 2021 Audi A6 3.0T (C8 generation) with about 45,000 miles. Recently, the car has developed a noticeable rough idle, especially when cold, and I've felt some hesitation or slight jerking under acceleration. The Check Engine Light came on yesterday, and I'm suspecting misfires.
I haven't pulled the codes yet, but based on the symptoms, it sounds like it could be spark plugs or ignition coils. Is 45,000 miles a typical interval for these on the 3.0T engine? Are there any specific brands or types of spark plugs/coils recommended for these engines?
Any insights on common causes for misfires on this particular engine, or if there's anything else I should check before diving into spark plugs and coils? Thanks in advance!
