Vehicle: 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL R-Line
Hey everyone,
My 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL R-Line, with only about 30,000 miles, just threw a Check Engine Light this morning. The car feels a bit rough at idle, and I've noticed a slight hesitation during acceleration. I pulled the codes with my OBD-II scanner, and I'm getting P0300 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected) and P0302 (Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected).
This is pretty unexpected for such a new car. I've always used premium fuel and kept up with the maintenance. Could this be a bad spark plug, an ignition coil, or something more serious? I'm hoping it's not a major engine issue. Any advice on where to start troubleshooting or what these codes usually point to in a newer Tiguan?
Thanks for your help!
